Established in 1962, the Canadian
Progress Club - Calgary Downtown is a community based public service
organization dedicated to "Enhancing the quality of life of all Canadians,
through community service, in the spirit of fellowship"
CPC-Calgary Downtown is comprised of 40 male members who unselfishly
give an enormous amount of time to raise funds for some of our select
charities, individuals and families in need. We organize and operate
5 main fundraising events each year through ticket sales, donations,
prizes and corporate sponsorships.
Our event include the Dogie Do Rodeo, the Dogie Do Breakfast, Dogie
Do New Years, The Gentlemens Lunch and The Dogie Do Hoe Down. See
our events page for more information

Progressians are men and women from all walks of life who enjoy hands-on
involvement in charitable activities, making improvements to their
communities, meeting new friends and having fun! In the Canadian Progress
Club you won't feel like a small fish in a big pond; local chapters
of the Canadian Progress Club
have an average of 25 members. There is a real sense of fellowship
within each club and across the country.
As a Progressian you will have opportunities to learn and refine many
skills – leadership development, public speaking, networking, fundraising,
strategic planning and creative marketing are just a few.
You will give something back to your community. Each Progress Club
surveys the needs within the community and then works to meet those
needs. Clubs often team up with other organizations, schools and businesses
to coordinate and implement a wide range of local improvement projects
and activities. |
